Position: Administrative Assistant
iGEM is growing and iGEM Headquarters wants your help. As an iGEM administrative assistant you would be responsible for supporting iGEM Headquarters and the various iGEM programs.
- Areas of responsibility include:
- Make all office administration duties run seamlessly.
- Maintain a professional and pleasant demeanor while being the first point of contact for the iGEM community and guests, whether over the phone, in person, or online.
- Be a part of an exciting, fun, and growing company. This also means thinking ahead and looking for opportunities to take on tasks.
- Candidates must have:
- Superior attention to detail.
- Impeccable written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort with technology. We are a Mac-friendly (preferred!) group, host our websites on Mediawiki, use image and video editing software...
- Start date: Spring/Summer 2012
- Duration: Temporary-to-permanent

- Bachelor's degree (Biology, engineering, or related field a plus)

Position: Intern
iGEM is growing and iGEM Headquarters wants your help. As an iGEM intern you would be working on "making iGEM better." Projects may include curating parts, web design, video production, developing educational materials. There is a lot to be done. What is your passion and how can you help make iGEM better? Let us know!

- Duration: 12-15 months

- BA/MA in Biology or related field
